Artist's Statement
"Photogenic Choices" sums up my philosophy regarding my photography. Choices are made through each step of the process.
They must all add up in order to achieve the best images possible for the intended purpose, which also must be decided upon.
I explore the nature of motherhood, utilizing photography as my medium. In particular, I record moments and objects that symbolize the transformative nature of the mother and daughter relationship.
